The use of such fittings is recommended in work with process pipelines. For example, to transport materials of a neutral and non-flammable nature, cast iron fittings with a diameter of up to 50 mm are used. To transport any media, steel reinforcement with a diameter of up to 40 mm can be used.   

The pin-type connection is used in fittings with low pressure values ​​and small dimensions. It is this type of connection that is more preferable when screwing into the bodies of devices, vessels, and various types of installations.

Advantages and disadvantages

The most important advantage of coupling fittings is ease of use without the need for complex tools. Everything you need is included in the product body. It is also important that the connections are made tightly and firmly. The joint is able to withstand mechanical loads and high temperatures.
