Where to find zinc at home

The penis didn’t stand well - what does a man need to know after the “experience”?

A single misfire in bed is not terrible, but a consistently weak erection in men may hide a serious illness. If your penis is not standing well, it is important to seek help from a doctor, as some pathologies are revealed after tests. However, some simple causes can be ruled out on your own.

Poorly erect penis: common causes and solutions

What to do when faced with penile flaccidity during sex and why such a situation might arise is of interest to many guys and men. There are many possible reasons; often the exact answer can be found only after a visit (sometimes more than one) to a doctor - a urologist, andrologist or psychologist.

The problem is in the head

If a guy has no physiological problems, misfires in bed can be associated with stress or psychological failure.

The following conditions are possible:

  • anxious thoughts, depression due to a difficult life situation, difficulties at work;
  • mental fatigue;
  • negative sexual experiences, including criticism from a partner;
  • depression.

In addition, lack of arousal may be associated with a fear that contraception will not work and the girl will become pregnant. Such fears, along with the fear of contracting a sexually transmitted disease, often become obsessive and have a bad effect on the quality of sex. It is recommended to visit a psychologist; in some cases, proper rest and taking sedatives help.

After drinking alcohol

A small amount of alcohol has a beneficial effect on the mental state, liberates, increases blood circulation, which causes stronger arousal and a strong erection, and a slight dulling of sensitivity allows you to not cum for a long time.

Excessive volume and frequent consumption of alcohol, on the contrary, lead to a number of unpleasant consequences:

  • the blood vessels narrow, resulting in a flaccid penis;
  • the brightness of sensations noticeably decreases;
  • orgasm is difficult to achieve, sometimes completely impossible;
  • With prolonged abuse, impotence often occurs.

It is recommended to limit yourself to a glass of red wine or a small glass of stronger alcohol; if you experience problems with erection, completely abstain from alcohol. Avoid beer altogether or drink it rarely and little by little, since hops contain phytoestrogens that suppress testosterone.

Abrupt smoking cessation

Cigarettes have a negative impact on potency and health in general, but if you quit smoking abruptly, especially if you have a long history of smoking, your sex life may become even worse for some time.

Since nicotine causes physiological and psychological dependence, quitting it is a serious stress for the body; at first, hormonal imbalances, depression, increased irritability and nervousness, and apathy are possible.

But the result is worth it - a few months after a man quits smoking, the sensitivity of the genitals, blood circulation, testosterone levels begin to restore, and libido increases. And to make the reaction less acute, you can use special sprays, tablets or patches (after consultation with a specialist, sold at the pharmacy).

After masturbation

Masturbation during the absence of a sexual partner is useful because it allows you to relieve sexual tension, improves blood circulation in the pelvic organs, and keeps the reproductive system in good shape.

But if self-gratification occurs too often, accompanied by viewing pornography and erotic fantasies, addiction may develop, leading to unpleasant consequences:

  • a man stops being aroused by regular sex;
  • the sensitivity of the reproductive organ decreases;
  • ejaculation occurs too quickly or does not occur at all;
  • a weak boner makes it impossible to have sexual intercourse with a woman.

In severe cases, even within married couples, the husband has no libido, and after masturbation he does not want sex. It would seem that solving the problem is simple - just stop masturbating. But for some men this can be very difficult to do. It is better to treat pathology under the supervision of a sexologist.

Lack of vitamins and elements

A balanced diet that provides all the necessary substances is very important for men's health. Nutrients ensure proper functioning of the heart and blood vessels and testosterone synthesis.

The following vitamins are especially necessary:

Among the micro- and macroelements, the following are responsible for potency:

  • magnesium;
  • zinc;
  • selenium;
  • potassium;
  • manganese;
  • sodium;
  • chromium.

Nutrients can be obtained from food. Good sources:

If it is not possible to change your diet, you should choose a pharmacy vitamin and mineral complex: Complivit (classic, with ginseng or selenium), SpermaPlant, Gendevit or another. Herbal preparations have also proven their effectiveness: Rexatal, Potencialex, Alfa Man.

After experiencing stress

Due to severe shock or prolonged nervous tension, processes occur in the body that negatively affect the intimate component.

Stress is not just a psychological problem. Because of it, a special hormone is released - cortisol, which is useful in rare critical situations, but harmful in everyday ones. This steroid suppresses testosterone synthesis, which worsens erection and libido. The situation is further complicated by the fact that a non-erect penis in itself is stressful for a man.

Rest using relaxation techniques helps solve the problem; if possible, unnerving circumstances should be excluded; if necessary, take a course of sedatives (the most harmless are mint or lemon balm in the form of tea; antidepressants should be taken only after consultation with a psychotherapist).

Low testosterone

The most important male hormone affects nervous activity and physiology; its deficiency leads to a decrease or disappearance of libido, loss of strength, excess weight gain, and depression. Insufficient testosterone levels during puberty lead to a small size and underdeveloped penis (read about how to enlarge your penis in a separate article).

The following reasons for weak steroid synthesis are identified:

  • obesity;
  • genetic pathologies;
  • bad habits;
  • taking hormonal drugs, including anabolic steroids;
  • radiation and chemotherapy;
  • kidney and liver diseases;
  • injury or absence of testes;
  • sedentary lifestyle;
  • elderly age;
  • stress.

You can accurately determine your hormone level by taking a test. Treatment is prescribed by a doctor; at home, you can stimulate testosterone production only with proper nutrition, physical activity, and special boosters.

With a condom

Barrier contraception is the most reliable, but often causes annoying misfires. If the penis stands up well but falls when using a condom, it is recommended to check 3 factors.

  1. Condom size. A product of small width can compress the penis, stimulating the outflow of blood;
  2. Wall thickness. The greater it is, the lower the sensitivity, and therefore the excitement;
  3. Lubrication. Its absence can cause discomfort, and condoms with a prolongation effect contain an anesthetic, which can cause the penis to fall.

In addition, if a man has previously practiced unprotected sex, using a condom especially noticeably changes the sensation for the worse. Then at first it is recommended to additionally lubricate the reproductive organ with stimulating ointments or choose another method of contraception.

Vascular problems

An erection occurs through two physiological processes:

  • increased pressure in the arteries of the penis and its blood supply, as a result of which the cavernous bodies are filled and the necessary hardness is achieved;
  • compression of the veins at the base of the phallus by special sphincters, which prevents the outflow of blood.

If one of these mechanisms is disrupted due to weakening or narrowing of blood vessels, an increase in the venous lumen, anemia, blood clots, the quality of intimate life suffers, the penis does not stand well. If a man is generally healthy, tips on increasing blood flow to the penis can help. However, in the presence of serious pathology, complete impotence may occur.

The risk group includes men over 45 years of age, smokers, and drug abusers. Erectile dysfunction develops gradually, often libido remains. The treatment is carried out by a doctor. Self-medication in this case will not lead to anything good. Read more about vascular impotence here.

Diseases of the genitourinary system

If the penis begins to stand poorly after unprotected intercourse with an untested partner, or this symptom is accompanied by discomfort during urination, defecation or sex, the source of the problem may be a sexually transmitted disease or an inflammatory process in the organs of the reproductive system.

Violation of potency often becomes a consequence of testicular pathology - infection, trauma, genetic failure, oncology. And also prostatitis, vesiculitis. In most cases, to restore erectile function, it is enough to eliminate the root cause; sometimes hormone replacement therapy is required.

What else is important to know?

The quality of sexual life depends not only on the health of the reproductive system, but also on the regularity of its “use”. Long-term abstinence (more than a month) has a bad effect on potency; in the absence of a partner, you sometimes need to relieve tension through masturbation. Excessive activity is also harmful - sex more than once a day leads to the fact that the more acts, the worse the penis costs.

Prevention

More often, men try to figure out on their own why their reproductive organ is not functioning fully, being embarrassed or not knowing which doctor to see. Since erection depends on many factors, a comprehensive examination by specialists is recommended:

  • andrologist;
  • sexologist or psychologist;
  • urologist;
  • cardiologist.

The last two doctors should be visited regularly even in the absence of complaints (at least once a year, to prevent serious problems with men's health).

In addition, to maintain potency, it is important to avoid stress, adhere to a healthy, active lifestyle and give preference to a diet with sufficient amounts of protein, fresh plant foods, and healthy fats. Regular sex is also important, but it should be with a regular partner who does not have sexually transmitted or sexually transmitted diseases.

What foods contain zinc?

Where to find zinc at home
Tell VKontakte in Odnoklassniki

Modern people are susceptible to stress due to the fast pace of life, so it is useful to consume foods high in zinc. This mineral affects metabolism and improves well-being. Without a microelement, cellular metabolism will be disrupted, which will lead to fatigue, increased fatigue and nervous breakdowns.

What are the benefits of zinc in food?

Doctors say that zinc in food and diet performs the following functions for the health of the human body:

  • improves metabolism - takes part in the creation and breakdown of carbohydrates, fats, proteins;
  • supports the functioning of the immune system - affects leukocytes, antibodies to diseases, hormones;
  • improves the body's resistance to infections;
  • affects the growth of the child, participates in the process of cell division;
  • in adolescence it is necessary during the formation of the reproductive system, the production of sperm and eggs;
  • cleanses of toxins, removes heavy metals;
  • slows down cell aging;
  • normalizes the condition of hair and skin.

Due to a lack of zinc, the following list of unfavorable factors may occur:

  • neuropsychiatric disorders (epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, schizophrenia);
  • allergies, dermatitis;
  • disruptions in immunity;
  • decreased blood circulation, anemia;
  • pregnant women experience difficult labor, fetal growth retardation, even miscarriage;
  • difficulties with wound healing;
  • decreased growth, delayed puberty;
  • hair loss – the result is immediately visible in the photo and in life;
  • frequent colds;
  • absent-mindedness, decreased concentration;
  • in adolescents, a lack of an element causes a craving for alcohol;
  • in men over 50 years of age there is an increased risk of prostate adenoma.

The maximum amount of the microelement is found inside the male genital organs, blood cells and the retina of the eye. Mineral deficiency is caused by a lack of substance in incoming food due to active physical activity, which results in profuse sweating. If you consume large amounts of carbohydrates and diuretics, you will not have enough microelement, so it is useful to remember which foods contain zinc.

It is important to know that the mineral is better absorbed with a large amount of protein and vitamin A. Phytates - derivatives of phytic acid - slow down absorption. Foods rich in iron, calcium and lead should be avoided. It is better to consume these microelements separately to improve metabolism within important tissues and organs throughout the body. For children and adults, regular intake of the element with food is recommended. Daily value in mg:

  • the first six months for girls – 2;
  • six months for boys – 3;
  • 0.5-3 years – 3;
  • 4-8 years – 5;

  • 19-50 years old for men – 15;
  • after 50 years for women – 10;
  • after 50 years for men – 13;
  • daily requirement for pregnancy under 18 years of age – 15;
  • during pregnancy over 19 years - 14;
  • nursing mothers under 18 years old – 15;
  • those who are breastfeeding after 18 years – 17.

Useful facts about the mineral:

  1. The use of oral contraceptives significantly reduces the concentration of the element.
  2. Zinc toxicity starts at 150 mg per day.
  3. If you have intestinal diseases or are taking diuretics, then you need to get more zinc from foods that contain it.
  4. Dairy products, caffeine, and alcohol wash out the element, preventing it from being absorbed.
  5. The element is better absorbed with legumes, peanuts, baking powder, and soy products that have undergone fermentation (for example, miso - Japanese soup).

Zinc scrap - description, types, average price

Zinc is a frequently used material in various fields of human activity. Therefore, its processing often becomes part of the technological process in production. Its various forms are used in the following industries:

  • medicine, both integral elements of equipment and anti-corrosion coatings, as well as pharmacological agents;
  • automobile tanks, sheets, gratings;
  • reagents for electrical engineering.

Although no one has yet experienced a shortage of ores containing this chemical element, zinc scrap remains in price. Recycling recycled materials is much cheaper than developing new deposits or simply extracting them additionally.

What type of scrap is accepted, its purity and requirements for it

Meanwhile, the interest of buyers extends to the following categories of this metal:

  • “zero” or used factory pigs;
  • carburetors disassembled or not;
  • furniture fittings of any type (lock connectors, handles, holders) require strict separation from engineering waste.

The most convenient form of raw material for the manufacture of products from Zn

The bulk of products consisting of this metal are produced using powder metallurgy methods or conventional casting. Therefore, zinc factory pigs, which have a convenient shape for storage and transportation, are the most popular type of metal waste. The pigs melt easily and are processed into powder. Hence the higher price than other forms.

Zinc pigs

Carburetors: to disassemble or not

The requirements for metal purity are sometimes surprising. It is better to remove steel rods in radiators in advance and hand them over as a separate type of raw material, otherwise the price of zinc scrap is reduced by about 25%. This applies to wiring and other debris, but no contradictions arise here.

Product purity

Also, if you want to sell zinc scrap, you will have to inquire about the degree of alloying of your own goods. Because the pure metal category must contain at least 99% zinc. This can include the following types of waste:

  • gauge sheets, pipes, foil;
  • plates from printing and engraving machines, where up to 1% are associated metals (Fe, Cd, Pb);
  • waste from machinery or aircraft equipment;

The degree of blockage, as well as the acceptability of the presence of certain impurities, are discussed individually.

More clogged types include:

  • varieties of TsAM scrap with a low dose of alloying (up to 3%) or containing a high proportion of impurities;

Zinc alloy housing

  • bimetallic waste with a Zn content of at least 85%;
  • types of dross, including zinc-lead alloys;
  • also some batteries, despite the low proportion of zinc, only 20%.

They accept everything, but at a reduced price

The price for zinc scrap today is 50-70 rubles per 1 kilogram.

Scrap from furniture waste, as well as automobile, construction, and plumbing scraps are sorted (not all, but those who specialize in zinc do the sorting). Make sure that recyclable materials do not contain hazardous impurities. The presence of such transfers the product into the category of military or radioactive raw materials, which are subject to other requirements.

Furniture scrap, as a rule, is cleaner than automobile scrap, not due to metal contamination, but in terms of delivery form. It contains less industrial secondary waste: plastic, paper or woven gaskets, oily traces.

Also, on furniture fittings there are practically no traces of soldering or other serious mechanical damage that could interfere with the purity of the alloy. So, for example, plumbing waste is characterized by a high percentage of traces of rust, construction waste - lime, paint, etc.

Therefore, even with the same purity (99%), furniture waste costs slightly more.

Trends in Zinc Use

According to statistics today, half of the metal obtained, regardless of the form of raw material supplied, is used to create anti-corrosion coatings. Several technologies have been developed for this:

  • immerse the metal in boiling Zn (hot-dip galvanizing);

Hot galvanizing

  • spray products or even entire steel and iron plates;
  • dyed in the usual way, using zinc as the main dye substance.

However, this use, although understandable, scraps the galvanized steel rather than the protective layer on it. This form of waste is suitable for recycling. During production, the protective coating is separated and subsequently used as secondary raw material.

Especially if there is thermal diffusion deposition of Zn on a steel or other surface. The result of this process is a homogeneous layer of zinc without pores and other defects, like a native one, covering the surface of a part of any configuration. This creates a high degree of protection from rust, mechanical damage and even UV exposure.

However, another type of galvanizing is the cold method, which precedes painting; this is priming steel or iron surfaces with solutions containing the main element Zn, which is also in demand by manufacturers. The proportion of pure substance in the finished applied coating is 80-92%.

How to distinguish zinc from other metals - Metalist's Handbook

Zinc or Zincum is element 30 of Mendeleev's periodic table of chemical elements and is designated by the symbol Zn. It is mainly used in the creation of deformed semi-finished products and as part of various types of mixtures. In its pure form, it looks like a brittle metal of a bluish-silver color; it quickly oxidizes and becomes covered with a protective film (oxide), due to which it noticeably tarnishes.

It is mined in Kazakhstan, Australia, Iran and Bolivia. Due to the difficulties in identifying the metal, it is often called "blende" .

Historical reference

The name “zinc” itself was first mentioned in the book “Liber Mineralium” by Paracelsus. According to some sources, it meant “prong.” The alloy of zinc with copper or brass has been known for a long time. It was used in Ancient Greece, India and Ancient Egypt, and later the material became known in China.

The metal was obtained in its pure form only in the first half of the 18th century in 1738 in Great Britain using the distillation method. Its discoverer was William Champion.

Industrial production began 5 years later, and in 1746 in Germany, the chemist Andreas Sigismund Marggraff developed and described in detail his own method for producing zinc . He proposed using the method of calcining a mixture of metal oxide and coal in fireproof clay retorts without air access.

Subsequent condensation of the vapors had to take place in the refrigerator. Due to his detailed description and painstaking development, Marggraf is often called the discoverer of the substance.

At the beginning of the 19th century, a method was found for isolating metal by rolling at 100 C o -150 C o. At the beginning of the next century, they learned to extract zinc using the electrolytic method. In Russia, the first metal was produced only in 1905.

Physical properties

  • Atomic number: 30.
  • Atomic mass: 65.37.
  • Atomic volume: 9.15
  • Density: 7.133 g/cm3.
  • Temperature required for melting: 419.5 C o.
  • Boiling point: 906 C o.
  • Surface energy: 105 mJ/m2.
  • Specific electrical conductivity: 16.2*10-6 S/m.
  • Molar heat capacity: 25.4 J/(K*mol).
  • Molar volume: 9.2 cm3/mol.

Zinc has weak mechanical properties; at normal temperatures it easily breaks and crumbles, but at temperatures of 100 C o -150 C o it becomes quite malleable and is easily deformed: it is forged and rolled into sheets. Plain water is safe for metal, but acids and alkalis easily corrode.

Because of this, zinc in its pure form is not used for the manufacture of parts, only alloys.

Chemical properties

The external electronic configuration of one zinc atom can be written as 3 d 104 s 2. The metal is active and is an energetic reducing agent. At a temperature of 100 C, it becomes covered in open air with a film consisting of basic carbonates and becomes very dull.

When exposed to carbon dioxide and high humidity, the element begins to deteriorate. In an oxygen or normal environment, when exposed to high heat, zinc burns, producing a bluish flame and white smoke, which consists of zinc oxide.

The dry elements of fluorine, bromine and chlorine have a flammable effect on zinc, but only with the participation of water vapor.

When a metal and strong mineral acids combine, the former dissolves, especially if the mixture is heated, resulting in the formation of the corresponding salts . Alkalis, melts and solutions oxidize the substance, resulting in the formation of zincites, soluble in water, and hydrogen is released. The intensity of the effects of acids and alkalis depends on the presence of impurities in zinc. The more “clean” the metal, the weaker it interacts due to hydrogen overvoltage.

in nature

Zinc does not occur as an independent element in nature. It can be extracted from 66 minerals, including sphalerite, calamine, franklinite, zincite, willemite, and smithsonite. The former is the most common source of the metal and is often called "zinc blende". It consists of zinc sulfide and impurities that give the mineral its varied colors. This makes it difficult to find and correctly identify.

You can find zinc in acidic and igneous rocks - in the latter there is a little more of it. Often the metal in the form of sulfide, together with lead is found in thermal waters and migrates in surface and underground sources.

Features of smelting

The temperature required to melt zinc should be less than 419 C o, but not more than 480 C o. Otherwise, metal waste will increase and wear on the walls of the bath, which is usually made from iron, will increase. In the molten state, no more than 0.05% iron admixture is allowed, otherwise the temperature required for melting will begin to rise. If the percentage of iron content exceeds 0.2%, zinc cannot be rolled.

Zinc is obtained from polymetallic ores, which can contain up to 4% of the element . If the ores have been enriched by selective flotation, up to 60% of zinc concentrates can be obtained from them, the rest will be occupied by concentrates of other metals. Zinc concentrates are fired in furnaces in a fluidized bed, after which zinc sulfide turns into oxide and sulfur dioxide is released. The latter is consumed: sulfuric acid is obtained from it.

To convert zinc oxide into the metal itself, two methods are used.

  1. Distillation or pyrometallurgical. The concentrate is fired, then sintered to impart gas permeability and granularity and reduced with coke or coal at temperatures of 1200-1300 C°. During the reaction, metal vapors are formed, which are condensed and poured into molds. The purity of zinc reaches 98.7%, after which it can be increased to 99.995% using rectification, but the latter method is quite expensive and complex.
  2. Electrolytic or hydrometallurgical. The fired concentrates are treated with sulfuric acid, the solution is cleaned of impurities using zinc dust and subjected to electrolysis in bathtubs lined with lead or vinyl plastic. Zinc is deposited on aluminum cathodes, from where it is collected and melted in induction furnaces. The purity of the metal obtained by this method reaches 99.95%.

Mixtures and alloys

To enhance strength and increase the melting point, the metal is mixed with copper, aluminum, tin, magnesium and lead.

The most famous and sought after alloy is brass. This is a mixture of copper with the addition of zinc, sometimes tin, nickel, manganese, iron, and lead are also found. The density of brass reaches 8700 kg/m3 .

The temperature required for melting is kept at around 880 C o - 950 C o: the higher the zinc content in it, the lower it is.

The alloy perfectly resists unfavorable external environments, although it turns black in air if not varnished, it is perfectly polished and welded by resistance welding.

There are two types of brass:

  1. Alpha brass: more ductile, bends well in any condition, but wears out more.
  2. Alpha+beta brass: deforms only when heated, but is more wear-resistant. Often alloyed with magnesium, aluminum, lead and iron. This increases strength, but reduces ductility.

Zamak or Zamac alloy is composed of zinc, aluminum, copper and magnesium . The name itself is formed from the first letters of the Latin names: Zink - Aluminum - Magnesium - Kupfer / Cuprum (Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium-Copper). In the USSR, the alloy was known as TsAM: Zinc-Aluminum-Copper.

Actively used in injection molding, melting begins at low temperatures (381 C o - 387 C o) and has a low coefficient of friction (0.07).

It has increased strength, which makes it possible to produce products of complex shapes that are not afraid of breaking: door handles, golf clubs, firearms, construction fittings, fasteners of various types and fishing tackle.

If the temperature required to melt a “pure” metal is 419.5 C o , then the alloy with tin is reduced to 199 C o, and with tin and lead - to 150 C o.

And although such alloys can be soldered and welded, most often mixtures with zinc are used only to seal existing defects due to their weak strength. For example, an alloy of tin, lead and zinc is recommended for use only on nickel-plated products.

Most often, zinc alloys are used to create carburetors, speedometer frames, radiator grilles, hydraulic brakes, pumps and decorative elements, parts for washing machines, mixers and kitchen equipment, watch cases, typewriters, cash registers and household appliances. These parts cannot be used in industrial production: when the temperature rises to 100 C, the strength of the product decreases by a third, and hardness by almost 40%. When the temperature drops to 0 C, zinc becomes too brittle, which can lead to breakage.

Application

Zinc is one of the most popular metals in the world: it is in third place in terms of production among non-ferrous metals, second only to copper and aluminum. This is also facilitated by its low price. It is most often used for corrosion protection and as part of an alloy such as brass.

  1. In metallurgy, zinc is especially valuable. It is applied in a thin layer to the steel surface of many metal structures to completely protect them from rust on a mechanical and chemical level. Up to 40% of all production is spent on this. Since zinc, unlike nickel, cobalt, tin and cadmium, is more active than iron, it is the first to come into contact with an unfriendly external environment, completely protecting the base.
  2. Pure metal is used to recover precious metals after mining by leaching. It is also used to extract gold and silver from rough lead.
  3. Zinc is the most electropositive metal and practically does not react to water. This made it possible to create a large number of different chemical current sources: zinc-air, silver-zinc, mercury-zinc, “dry” Leclanchet elements.
  4. Zinc dust is used in fireworks and pyrotechnics to create blue fire, and in paint, especially zinc white, for anti-corrosion protection and better adhesion to the substrate. It is also used to displace precious metals from cyanide solutions and to purify zinc sulfate solutions from cadmium and copper.
  5. In printing, zinc is used for casting fonts and printing illustrations: zincography has been used since the 19th century. In this case, the printing plate is prepared on a zinc base with a small - no more than 5% - addition of other metals. Before each etching, the plate is annealed and rolled in a heated state.
  6. In medicine, zinc oxide is used as an antiseptic in the ointments “Lassara Paste”, “Sudocrem”, “Zinc Ointment”, as well as as a powder, toothpastes and material for cementing teeth. Metal is used to create bactericidal ceilings and self-cleaning surfaces. Previously, zinc was used for photocatalytic water purification on an industrial scale.

How to get rid of an abscess without getting blood poisoning

The word abscess is translated from Latin simply as an abscess. Doctors use this Latin term to describe an active inflammatory process in which a cavity filled with pus forms in living tissue.

Tavarius/Shutterstock

An abscess can occur in any part of the human body, including internal organs. But most often it affects the skin in the armpits, groin, area around the anus, base of the spine and gums near the teeth.

Inflammation around the hair follicle can also lead to the formation of an abscess - this type of abscess is commonly called a boil.

How to tell if you have an abscess

Symptoms of an external abscess developing inside the skin are usually obvious:

  • it looks like a dense swelling, a “bump” that has grown under the skin;
  • touching him is painful;
  • the skin on the affected area turns red and feels hot to the touch;
  • not always, but quite often you can see an accumulation of white or yellow pus under the stretched skin.

Extensive subcutaneous abscesses may also be accompanied by fever.

Abscesses that arise on internal organs or in the tissues between them are more difficult to recognize. Signs of an abscess in this case are vague and may vary depending on which organ is affected. For example, a liver abscess is often accompanied by jaundice, a yellowing of the skin of the body and the whites of the eyes. A lung abscess causes coughing and shortness of breath.

If we talk about the general and most common symptoms of an internal abscess, here they are:

  • discomfort and pain in the area of the organ on which the abscess occurred;
  • temperature increase;
  • loss of appetite up to complete reluctance to eat;
  • active sweating;
  • distinct weakness.

Small abscesses often resolve on their own. However, much more negative scenarios are also possible.

When to Seek Help Quickly

Consult your physician or surgeon immediately if:

  • the diameter of the subcutaneous abscess exceeds 1 cm;
  • the abscess continues to grow and becomes more and more painful;
  • inflammation occurs in the groin or anus;
  • the abscess is accompanied by an increase in temperature.

Go to the emergency room or call 911 if:

  • An abscess with a diameter of more than a centimeter appeared on the face.
  • The temperature rose to 38.8 °C and above.
  • You notice red streaks under the skin that spread outward from the abscess.
  • In the area between the abscess and the breast, the lymph nodes were enlarged. For example, an abscess on the leg can cause enlarged lymph nodes in the groin area.

Such symptoms indicate that there is a high risk of blood poisoning. And this is a deadly condition.

What to do if you have an abscess

Ideally, any abscess, even if it looks small and relatively harmless, should be shown to a doctor - a therapist, surgeon or dermatologist. The specialist will examine the abscess, assess its location and size, and analyze your health condition. And after that he will give recommendations on how and with what to treat the abscess in your particular case. Please note: antibiotics or surgical removal of the abscess may be required.

Until you see a doctor, you can try to alleviate the condition with home methods.

Apply warm compresses

They will help reduce pain and accelerate the maturation of the abscess. Apply gauze soaked in warm water to the affected area 3-4 times a day for 15 minutes.

Use ointments

Apply antiseptic ointments with a pulling effect to the abscess. To find out which is better and safer to use in your case, consult your doctor.

Don't forget about antiseptic

If the abscess opens on its own, wash the wound with antibacterial soap and treat with any antiseptic, possibly alcohol-based. Then apply an antibacterial ointment (for example, levomekol or tetracycline) and apply a bandage. Wash the wound with warm water 2-3 times a day and apply warm compresses until it heals.

Trying to squeeze out the pus

Pressure can drive it deeper, which means the abscess will only increase in size.

Piercing an abscess with a needle

You can accidentally damage a blood vessel, which means pus will enter the bloodstream - with the expected consequences of sepsis.

Rely only on home methods

Do not continue home treatment if the abscess does not decrease in size (much less if it continues to grow) within a couple of days. Consult a physician as soon as possible.

Ignore general health

Do not take risks, but consult a doctor immediately if an abscess develops against the background of problems with the cardiovascular system, iron deficiency anemia, diabetes, any problems in the immune system, or taking drugs that suppress the immune system. In this case, the body's defenses may not be enough to defeat the infection on its own.

Question for experts: where to get zinc at home and what it is URGENT!

Absolutely any battery. Remove the tin or plastic cover. The body of the battery itself, or rather the electrochemical ELEMENT, is a cup made of chemically pure zinc. Remove all excess, rinse the zinc with hot acidified (vinegar, lemon juice) water.

pick up the batteries they are made of zinc which is a metal.

Zinc is a metal.
You are unlikely to get it at home.

What is URGENT or what is ZINC? If the latter, then chem. element

Russian battery cases used to be made of zinc

Take the battery.
Saline, not alkaline. You take it apart: under the tin and plastic shell there will be a zinc cup. An old battery will have holes. The alkaline has a stainless steel body and is solid. You can tell the difference right away.

With new batteries it’s probably possible, but it’s problematic.
Look in chemical stores, but it's not a bomb. Joke: Rip off a galvanized bucket!!!!

Well, you’re just like at school, picking out batteries. Before the “aluminum era,” cast iron pots, buckets, and basins were made from Zn. German occupation pfennigs. Carburetors, door handles, etc. are still produced from TsAM alloy. How to distinguish: gray to black color (due to oxides), not magnetic (obviously), quite soft, much heavier than Al. In short, they will help you on your way to the nearest scrap metal collection point for a reasonable fee (20-30 rubles/kg).

Toothpaste tubes used to be made from zinc, but now I don’t know what.

  • anxious thoughts, depression due to a difficult life situation, difficulties at work;
  • mental fatigue;
  • negative sexual experiences, including criticism from a partner;

  • the blood vessels narrow, resulting in a flaccid penis;
  • the brightness of sensations noticeably decreases;
  • orgasm is difficult to achieve, sometimes completely impossible;

  • a man stops being aroused by regular sex;
  • the sensitivity of the reproductive organ decreases;
  • ejaculation occurs too quickly or does not occur at all;
  • a weak boner makes it impossible to have sexual intercourse with a woman.

  • magnesium;
  • zinc;
  • selenium;
  • potassium;
  • manganese;
  • sodium;

  • obesity;
  • genetic pathologies;
  • bad habits;
  • taking hormonal drugs, including anabolic steroids;
  • radiation and chemotherapy;
  • kidney and liver diseases;
  • injury or absence of testes;
  • sedentary lifestyle;
  • elderly age;

  1. Condom size. A product of small width can compress the penis, stimulating the outflow of blood;
  2. Wall thickness. The greater it is, the lower the sensitivity, and therefore the excitement;

  • increased pressure in the arteries of the penis and its blood supply, as a result of which the cavernous bodies are filled and the necessary hardness is achieved;

  • andrologist;
  • sexologist or psychologist;
  • urologist;

  • improves metabolism - takes part in the creation and breakdown of carbohydrates, fats, proteins;
  • supports the functioning of the immune system - affects leukocytes, antibodies to diseases, hormones;
  • improves the body's resistance to infections;
  • affects the growth of the child, participates in the process of cell division;
  • in adolescence it is necessary during the formation of the reproductive system, the production of sperm and eggs;
  • cleanses of toxins, removes heavy metals;
  • slows down cell aging;
  • normalizes the condition of hair and skin.

Due to a lack of zinc, the following list of unfavorable factors may occur:

  • neuropsychiatric disorders (epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, schizophrenia);
  • allergies, dermatitis;
  • disruptions in immunity;
  • decreased blood circulation, anemia;
  • pregnant women experience difficult labor, fetal growth retardation, even miscarriage;
  • difficulties with wound healing;
  • decreased growth, delayed puberty;
  • hair loss – the result is immediately visible in the photo and in life;
  • frequent colds;
  • absent-mindedness, decreased concentration;
  • in adolescents, a lack of an element causes a craving for alcohol;
  • in men over 50 years of age there is an increased risk of prostate adenoma.
THIS IS INTERESTING:  What costs more: gold or platinum

  • the first six months for girls – 2;
  • six months for boys – 3;
  • 0.5-3 years – 3;
  • 4-8 years – 5;
  • 9-13 years old – 8;
  • 14-18 years old for girls – 9;
  • 14-18 years old for boys – 11;
  • 19-59 years old for women – 12;
  • 19-50 years old for men – 15;
  • after 50 years for women – 10;
  • after 50 years for men – 13;
  • daily requirement for pregnancy under 18 years of age – 15;
  • during pregnancy over 19 years - 14;
  • nursing mothers under 18 years old – 15;
  • those who are breastfeeding after 18 years – 17.

  • medicine, both integral elements of equipment and anti-corrosion coatings, as well as pharmacological agents;
  • automobile tanks, sheets, gratings;

  • “zero” or used factory pigs;
  • carburetors disassembled or not;
  • furniture fittings of any type (lock connectors, handles, holders) require strict separation from engineering waste.

  • gauge sheets, pipes, foil;
  • plates from printing and engraving machines, where up to 1% are associated metals (Fe, Cd, Pb);
  • waste from machinery or aircraft equipment;

The degree of blockage, as well as the acceptability of the presence of certain impurities, are discussed individually.

More clogged types include:

  • varieties of TsAM scrap with a low dose of alloying (up to 3%) or containing a high proportion of impurities;

Zinc alloy housing

  • bimetallic waste with a Zn content of at least 85%;
  • types of dross, including zinc-lead alloys;

  • immerse the metal in boiling Zn (hot-dip galvanizing);

Hot galvanizing

  • spray products or even entire steel and iron plates;

  • it looks like a dense swelling, a “bump” that has grown under the skin;
  • touching him is painful;
  • the skin on the affected area turns red and feels hot to the touch;

  • discomfort and pain in the area of the organ on which the abscess occurred;
  • temperature increase;
  • loss of appetite up to complete reluctance to eat;
  • active sweating;
  • distinct weakness.

Small abscesses often resolve on their own. However, much more negative scenarios are also possible.

When to Seek Help Quickly

Consult your physician or surgeon immediately if:

  • the diameter of the subcutaneous abscess exceeds 1 cm;
  • the abscess continues to grow and becomes more and more painful;
  • inflammation occurs in the groin or anus;

What you should never do if you have an abscess

Where to get a neodymium magnet at home

Where to get a neodymium magnet at home

Neodymium magnets have powerful attraction and stable magnetic field. They have high resistance to demagnetization and retain their properties for a long time.

The scope of application of neodymium magnets is quite wide, so having such an item always at hand will be very useful. It turns out that they are contained in headphones, stepper motors and other devices. To get a neodymium magnet at home, just disassemble the device using a regular screwdriver.

Headphones

Headphones

Small neodymium beckons are easy to spot in old headphones. Any models will do. The disassembly procedure takes no more than 2-3 minutes, and you will have a real magnet in your hands. Depending on the type of headphones, the size, shape and strength of the magnet may vary.

Hard drive for computer

Hard drive for computer

Used data storage hard drives contain more powerful neodymium magnets. To disassemble the device, it is best to use older models released for PC. In modern devices, magnets are not very powerful, but they also have all the characteristics and properties.

The magnetic plate in appearance resembles a horseshoe measuring 3-4 mm, so disassembling the device should be done very carefully. The alloy is brittle and is firmly connected with an adhesive base to a steel platform. Because of this feature of the fastening, to disassemble the hard drive you will need to arm yourself not only with a screwdriver, but also with risks and another heavy object such as a hammer or chisel.

How to get it:

  1. One end of the plate must be firmly secured in a vice, and a strong but gentle blow must be applied to the opposite end.
  2. Pry the end of the magnet with a chisel and remove it from the device.
  3. If the neodymium is glued, it will be possible to slightly heat the plate. However, you cannot increase the temperature too much, otherwise the magnet will lose its basic properties.

The CD/DVD drive is disassembled in a similar way.

Furniture latches

Furniture latches

A powerful magnet is easy to detect in furniture fittings. Neodymium is often used inside the latches to hold the doors in place. Such magnets do not have very high power, so they are suitable only for certain purposes.

Engines and generators

Engines and generators

The most popular device that can be used to extract neodymium is a stepper motor. It can be found inside any office equipment that has broken down.

Usually in motors the magnet is located among the rotor elements. The magnetic ring is placed on a rod and sandwiched between plastic wheels. To remove the part, a vice and a screwdriver are suitable, which you need to carefully knock out the axle.

It is important to remember that the alloy is brittle and breaks easily. That is why during operation it is necessary to firmly clamp only one upper gear. If the magnetic ring is secured with glue, you will need to heat the part with a hairdryer or lightly tap it with the back of a screwdriver.

Neodymium rings are not found in older model engines, which previously used a conventional ferromagnet. It is also quite powerful and can be used for a variety of purposes.

Conclusion

Conclusion

  • Neodymium magnet is found in various electrical appliances and devices that are easy to disassemble with a screwdriver and a vice.
  • To remove the magnet, you must act carefully and carefully so as not to damage the fragile alloy.
  • At home, it is easy to obtain neodymium, which has all the basic properties and characteristics.
  • The most suitable devices for obtaining a neodymium magnet are failed stepper motors, speakers, drives, and even furniture latches.

Question for experts: where to get zinc at home and what it is URGENT!

Best regards, Snatch

The penis didn’t stand well - what does a man need to know after the “experience”?

Where to find zinc at home

369

  • anxious thoughts, depression due to a difficult life situation, difficulties at work;
  • mental fatigue;
  • negative sexual experiences, including criticism from a partner;

  • the blood vessels narrow, resulting in a flaccid penis;
  • the brightness of sensations noticeably decreases;
  • orgasm is difficult to achieve, sometimes completely impossible;

  • a man stops being aroused by regular sex;
  • the sensitivity of the reproductive organ decreases;
  • ejaculation occurs too quickly or does not occur at all;
  • a weak boner makes it impossible to have sexual intercourse with a woman.

  • magnesium;
  • zinc;
  • selenium;
  • potassium;
  • manganese;
  • sodium;

  • obesity;
  • genetic pathologies;
  • bad habits;
  • taking hormonal drugs, including anabolic steroids;
  • radiation and chemotherapy;
  • kidney and liver diseases;
  • injury or absence of testes;
  • sedentary lifestyle;
  • elderly age;

  1. Condom size. A product of small width can compress the penis, stimulating the outflow of blood;
  2. Wall thickness. The greater it is, the lower the sensitivity, and therefore the excitement;

  • increased pressure in the arteries of the penis and its blood supply, as a result of which the cavernous bodies are filled and the necessary hardness is achieved;

  • andrologist;
  • sexologist or psychologist;
  • urologist;

  • improves metabolism - takes part in the creation and breakdown of carbohydrates, fats, proteins;
  • supports the functioning of the immune system - affects leukocytes, antibodies to diseases, hormones;
  • improves the body's resistance to infections;
  • affects the growth of the child, participates in the process of cell division;
  • in adolescence it is necessary during the formation of the reproductive system, the production of sperm and eggs;
  • cleanses of toxins, removes heavy metals;
  • slows down cell aging;
  • normalizes the condition of hair and skin.

Due to a lack of zinc, the following list of unfavorable factors may occur:

  • neuropsychiatric disorders (epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, schizophrenia);
  • allergies, dermatitis;
  • disruptions in immunity;
  • decreased blood circulation, anemia;
  • pregnant women experience difficult labor, fetal growth retardation, even miscarriage;
  • difficulties with wound healing;
  • decreased growth, delayed puberty;
  • hair loss – the result is immediately visible in the photo and in life;
  • frequent colds;
  • absent-mindedness, decreased concentration;
  • in adolescents, a lack of an element causes a craving for alcohol;

  • the first six months for girls – 2;
  • six months for boys – 3;
  • 0.5-3 years – 3;
  • 4-8 years – 5;

  • during pregnancy over 19 years - 14;
  • nursing mothers under 18 years old – 15;
  • those who are breastfeeding after 18 years – 17.

  • medicine, both integral elements of equipment and anti-corrosion coatings, as well as pharmacological agents;
  • automobile tanks, sheets, gratings;

  • “zero” or used factory pigs;
  • carburetors disassembled or not;
  • furniture fittings of any type (lock connectors, handles, holders) require strict separation from engineering waste.

  • gauge sheets, pipes, foil;
  • plates from printing and engraving machines, where up to 1% are associated metals (Fe, Cd, Pb);
  • waste from machinery or aircraft equipment;

The degree of blockage, as well as the acceptability of the presence of certain impurities, are discussed individually.

More clogged types include:

  • varieties of TsAM scrap with a low dose of alloying (up to 3%) or containing a high proportion of impurities;

Zinc alloy housing

  • bimetallic waste with a Zn content of at least 85%;
  • types of dross, including zinc-lead alloys;

  • immerse the metal in boiling Zn (hot-dip galvanizing);

Hot galvanizing

  • spray products or even entire steel and iron plates;

  • it looks like a dense swelling, a “bump” that has grown under the skin;
  • touching him is painful;
  • the skin on the affected area turns red and feels hot to the touch;

  • discomfort and pain in the area of the organ on which the abscess occurred;
  • temperature increase;
  • loss of appetite up to complete reluctance to eat;
  • active sweating;
  • distinct weakness.

Small abscesses often resolve on their own. However, much more negative scenarios are also possible.

When to Seek Help Quickly

Consult your physician or surgeon immediately if:

  • the diameter of the subcutaneous abscess exceeds 1 cm;
  • the abscess continues to grow and becomes more and more painful;
  • inflammation occurs in the groin or anus;

What you should never do if you have an abscess

A powerful magnet is easy to detect in furniture fittings. Neodymium is often used inside the latches to hold the doors in place. Such magnets do not have very high power, so they are suitable only for certain purposes.

Engines and generators

Best answers

The penis didn’t stand well - what does a man need to know after the “experience”?

Where to find zinc at home

369

  • anxious thoughts, depression due to a difficult life situation, difficulties at work;
  • mental fatigue;
  • negative sexual experiences, including criticism from a partner;

  • the blood vessels narrow, resulting in a flaccid penis;
  • the brightness of sensations noticeably decreases;
  • orgasm is difficult to achieve, sometimes completely impossible;

  • a man stops being aroused by regular sex;
  • the sensitivity of the reproductive organ decreases;
  • ejaculation occurs too quickly or does not occur at all;
  • a weak boner makes it impossible to have sexual intercourse with a woman.

  • magnesium;
  • zinc;
  • selenium;
  • potassium;
  • manganese;
  • sodium;

  • obesity;
  • genetic pathologies;
  • bad habits;
  • taking hormonal drugs, including anabolic steroids;
  • radiation and chemotherapy;
  • kidney and liver diseases;
  • injury or absence of testes;
  • sedentary lifestyle;
  • elderly age;

  1. Condom size. A product of small width can compress the penis, stimulating the outflow of blood;
  2. Wall thickness. The greater it is, the lower the sensitivity, and therefore the excitement;

  • increased pressure in the arteries of the penis and its blood supply, as a result of which the cavernous bodies are filled and the necessary hardness is achieved;

  • andrologist;
  • sexologist or psychologist;
  • urologist;

  • improves metabolism - takes part in the creation and breakdown of carbohydrates, fats, proteins;
  • supports the functioning of the immune system - affects leukocytes, antibodies to diseases, hormones;
  • improves the body's resistance to infections;
  • affects the growth of the child, participates in the process of cell division;
  • in adolescence it is necessary during the formation of the reproductive system, the production of sperm and eggs;
  • cleanses of toxins, removes heavy metals;
  • slows down cell aging;
  • normalizes the condition of hair and skin.

Due to a lack of zinc, the following list of unfavorable factors may occur:

  • neuropsychiatric disorders (epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, schizophrenia);
  • allergies, dermatitis;
  • disruptions in immunity;
  • decreased blood circulation, anemia;
  • pregnant women experience difficult labor, fetal growth retardation, even miscarriage;
  • difficulties with wound healing;
  • decreased growth, delayed puberty;
  • hair loss – the result is immediately visible in the photo and in life;
  • frequent colds;
  • absent-mindedness, decreased concentration;
  • in adolescents, a lack of an element causes a craving for alcohol;

  • the first six months for girls – 2;
  • six months for boys – 3;
  • 0.5-3 years – 3;
  • 4-8 years – 5;

  • after 50 years for men – 13;
  • daily requirement for pregnancy under 18 years of age – 15;
  • during pregnancy over 19 years - 14;
  • nursing mothers under 18 years old – 15;
  • those who are breastfeeding after 18 years – 17.

  3. Heat sunflower oil in an enamel bowl, add sugar, coriander, paprika, chopped garlic and pepper, boil for 1 minute.
  4. Pour vinegar, oil and spices over the carrots, place a weight weighing at least 1 kg on top, and put it in the refrigerator for a day.
  5. Place the prepared snack into jars and compact tightly.
  6. Sterilize the filled jars for 20 minutes, then roll up the lids.

These carrots are less crunchy than freshly cooked ones, but have a richer taste, so they are best suited for salads.

Zinc scrap - description, types, average price

Zinc is a frequently used material in various fields of human activity. Therefore, its processing often becomes part of the technological process in production. Its various forms are used in the following industries:

  • medicine, both integral elements of equipment and anti-corrosion coatings, as well as pharmacological agents;
  • automobile tanks, sheets, gratings;

  • “zero” or used factory pigs;
  • carburetors disassembled or not;
  • furniture fittings of any type (lock connectors, handles, holders) require strict separation from engineering waste.

  • gauge sheets, pipes, foil;
  • plates from printing and engraving machines, where up to 1% are associated metals (Fe, Cd, Pb);
  • waste from machinery or aircraft equipment;

The degree of blockage, as well as the acceptability of the presence of certain impurities, are discussed individually.

More clogged types include:

  • varieties of TsAM scrap with a low dose of alloying (up to 3%) or containing a high proportion of impurities;

Zinc alloy housing

  • bimetallic waste with a Zn content of at least 85%;
  • types of dross, including zinc-lead alloys;

  • immerse the metal in boiling Zn (hot-dip galvanizing);

Hot galvanizing

  • spray products or even entire steel and iron plates;

  • it looks like a dense swelling, a “bump” that has grown under the skin;
  • touching him is painful;
  • the skin on the affected area turns red and feels hot to the touch;

  • discomfort and pain in the area of the organ on which the abscess occurred;
  • temperature increase;
  • loss of appetite up to complete reluctance to eat;
  • active sweating;
  • distinct weakness.

Small abscesses often resolve on their own. However, much more negative scenarios are also possible.

When to Seek Help Quickly

Consult your physician or surgeon immediately if:

  • the diameter of the subcutaneous abscess exceeds 1 cm;
  • the abscess continues to grow and becomes more and more painful;
  • inflammation occurs in the groin or anus;

What you should never do if you have an abscess

The penis didn’t stand well - what does a man need to know after the “experience”?

Where to find zinc at home

369

  • anxious thoughts, depression due to a difficult life situation, difficulties at work;
  • mental fatigue;
  • negative sexual experiences, including criticism from a partner;

  • the blood vessels narrow, resulting in a flaccid penis;
  • the brightness of sensations noticeably decreases;
  • orgasm is difficult to achieve, sometimes completely impossible;

  • a man stops being aroused by regular sex;
  • the sensitivity of the reproductive organ decreases;
  • ejaculation occurs too quickly or does not occur at all;
  • a weak boner makes it impossible to have sexual intercourse with a woman.

  • magnesium;
  • zinc;
  • selenium;
  • potassium;
  • manganese;
  • sodium;

  • obesity;
  • genetic pathologies;
  • bad habits;
  • taking hormonal drugs, including anabolic steroids;
  • radiation and chemotherapy;
  • kidney and liver diseases;
  • injury or absence of testes;
  • sedentary lifestyle;
  • elderly age;

  1. Condom size. A product of small width can compress the penis, stimulating the outflow of blood;
  2. Wall thickness. The greater it is, the lower the sensitivity, and therefore the excitement;

  • increased pressure in the arteries of the penis and its blood supply, as a result of which the cavernous bodies are filled and the necessary hardness is achieved;

  • andrologist;
  • sexologist or psychologist;
  • urologist;

  • improves metabolism - takes part in the creation and breakdown of carbohydrates, fats, proteins;
  • supports the functioning of the immune system - affects leukocytes, antibodies to diseases, hormones;
  • improves the body's resistance to infections;
  • affects the growth of the child, participates in the process of cell division;
  • in adolescence it is necessary during the formation of the reproductive system, the production of sperm and eggs;
  • cleanses of toxins, removes heavy metals;
  • slows down cell aging;
  • normalizes the condition of hair and skin.

Due to a lack of zinc, the following list of unfavorable factors may occur:

  • neuropsychiatric disorders (epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, schizophrenia);
  • allergies, dermatitis;
  • disruptions in immunity;
  • decreased blood circulation, anemia;
  • pregnant women experience difficult labor, fetal growth retardation, even miscarriage;
  • difficulties with wound healing;
  • decreased growth, delayed puberty;
  • hair loss – the result is immediately visible in the photo and in life;
  • frequent colds;
  • absent-mindedness, decreased concentration;
  • in adolescents, a lack of an element causes a craving for alcohol;

  • the first six months for girls – 2;
  • six months for boys – 3;
  • 0.5-3 years – 3;
  • 4-8 years – 5;

  • daily requirement for pregnancy under 18 years of age – 15;
  • during pregnancy over 19 years - 14;
  • nursing mothers under 18 years old – 15;
  • those who are breastfeeding after 18 years – 17.

  • medicine, both integral elements of equipment and anti-corrosion coatings, as well as pharmacological agents;
  • automobile tanks, sheets, gratings;

  • “zero” or used factory pigs;
  • carburetors disassembled or not;
  • furniture fittings of any type (lock connectors, handles, holders) require strict separation from engineering waste.

  • gauge sheets, pipes, foil;
  • plates from printing and engraving machines, where up to 1% are associated metals (Fe, Cd, Pb);
  • waste from machinery or aircraft equipment;

The degree of blockage, as well as the acceptability of the presence of certain impurities, are discussed individually.

More clogged types include:

  • varieties of TsAM scrap with a low dose of alloying (up to 3%) or containing a high proportion of impurities;

Zinc alloy housing

  • bimetallic waste with a Zn content of at least 85%;
  • types of dross, including zinc-lead alloys;

  • immerse the metal in boiling Zn (hot-dip galvanizing);

Hot galvanizing

  • spray products or even entire steel and iron plates;

  • it looks like a dense swelling, a “bump” that has grown under the skin;
  • touching him is painful;
  • the skin on the affected area turns red and feels hot to the touch;

  • discomfort and pain in the area of the organ on which the abscess occurred;
  • temperature increase;
  • loss of appetite up to complete reluctance to eat;
  • active sweating;
  • distinct weakness.

Small abscesses often resolve on their own. However, much more negative scenarios are also possible.

When to Seek Help Quickly

Consult your physician or surgeon immediately if:

  • the diameter of the subcutaneous abscess exceeds 1 cm;
  • the abscess continues to grow and becomes more and more painful;
  • inflammation occurs in the groin or anus;

What you should never do if you have an abscess

A powerful magnet is easy to detect in furniture fittings. Neodymium is often used inside the latches to hold the doors in place. Such magnets do not have very high power, so they are suitable only for certain purposes.

Engines and generators

Where to find zinc at home?

Question for experts: where to get zinc at home and what it is URGENT!

Best regards, Snatch

Best answers

Unearth old Soviet batteries.

Clean the outer cups of regular batteries; they are zinc. Only from regular ones, not alkaline ones.

Only when you melt it, it’s better to be outside, the remaining chemicals from the battery when heated see a lot of poop.

They told the truth, zinc is the cup of a round battery, copper - in addition to the soldering iron tip, there are copper bolts on cars on the generator and the solenoid relay (I can tell you where else to get platinum, iridium and gold)

Coins... Rummage in your pocket - the copper-zinc alloy is common among kopecks - 10, 50, and the copper-nickel alloy - among rubles 1, 2, 5. The 10-ruble old coin has copper-zinc and copper-nickel parts

Look, maybe grandma's basin is still there.

In electrical wires (copper) and zinc only in alkaline batteries, not in alkaline ones

There are copper wires in any home, and zinc comes from a galvanized bucket.

Zinc is the outer shell of round batteries, not the same on top, but underneath it is gray. Copper is the soldering iron tip.

Copper is the best for wires, and the richest source of zinc is the Soviet tape recorder (there are gray flywheels in the tape mechanism)

dude you won't get gold from copper and zinc it will be brass

zinc is needed zinc is in the newspaper yes yes regular newspaper it's black paint you burn the newspaper and voila you just need to burn a lot)
