The moving particles are made from old support bearings and classic scrap. The screw stop can be taken from old clamps. The screw must have a power rectangular or trapezoidal thread, but a metric thread will not withstand pressure. To assemble the structure, prepare:

  • grinder;
  • powerful drill;
  • welding machine.

The frame must have a U-shaped bracket for a screw stop. Welding is performed with a conventional semi-automatic machine. The seams must be of high quality , since it is to them that tensile forces are applied.

Make a hole in the upper channel and weld a nut, then screw in the support screw, which will act as a height adjuster for the pressure roller.

The support rollers are made from simple scrap and processed using a grinder.

Two support rollers will move simultaneously; for this purpose, identical bicycle sprockets should be welded onto each axle; the bearings are welded so that symmetry is maintained with the central part of the frame, while maintaining the tension of the chain.

One axle needs to be slightly longer to accommodate the manual drive, and the rollers are mounted on podiums. In the case of the maximum lowering of the central roller, the bending radius of the part will not be large.

For the drive handle, you can take a connecting rod from the pedals; it needs to be welded to the long axis of one of the rollers.

Another option for manufacturing the structure will solve similar problems, but will have a different operating principle.
